Living God, you call us to be Christ's body on earth
Lead us forward together
- united by our common faith
- strengthened by our common hope
that, through us, all may know the greatness of Your love.

Thanksgiving:-
for the approach of the Advent season.
for the genuine loving friendship of those who make sacrifices in order to help others.
for all the ways in which we are reminded of God's constant love and kindness even in the everyday events in our lives.
for the unity felt among people of neighbourhood churches as we pray, meet and work together.
Prayers for:-
Love and patience with understanding for all who have the responsibility of caring for children and young people.
All who are ill or anxious about their health or the health of close ones.
Group leaders and all who want to learn and worship.
The work of our pastoral team, also chaplains to schools, prisons, hospitals and shopping centres.
All who provide essential services in the community, may we not take them for granted.
A Prayer
We bring before you, O Lord, the troubles and perils of people and nations, the sighing of prisoners and captives, the sorrows of the bereaved, the necessities of strangers, the helplessness of the weak, the despondency of the weary, the failing powers of the aged. O Lord, draw near to each; for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
